Hi, I’m Simon Inkson and welcome to my website. I am an experienced housing professional with a proven track record in the local government and housing consultancy environment.

My Wales based practice, which was established in May 2003, provides high quality housing and management consultancy services to the public, private and independent sectors. I am committed to the development of customer focused services and to the introduction of greater transparency in the way that housing services are developed and delivered. 

The focus of my practice is to assist organisations achieve improvement in the delivery of services to service users and stakeholders by assisting them to understand:

 

·          their roles

·          the environment that they operate in

·          the expectations of their customers

·          the opportunities for delivering services in innovative and different ways

 

My particular areas of specialism include: -

·          performing environment scans

·          providing advice on methods of assessing service quality, reviewing the effectiveness of services and developing improvement strategies;

·          developing business systems and business re-modelling to achieve improvements;

·          undertaking a range of qualitative and quantitative research projects;

·          the development of housing and housing related strategies

·          providing advice to local authorities in relation to organisation and delivery of retained housing functions

I also work in partnership with other independent housing consultants and was one of the founding members of Housing Plus Cymru.
