Hello I’m Simon Inkson and welcome to my website. My practice established in May 2003, has a proven track record in providing high quality services to the public, private and independent sectors.

 

I am committed to customer focused services and to greater transparency in the way that housing services are developed and delivered. My practice aims to assist organisations achieve improvement in the delivery of services to customers and stakeholders by helping them to understand:

  • their roles
  • the environment that they operate in
  • the expectations of their customers and key stakeholders
  • the opportunities to delivering services in innovative and different ways
  • the opportunities to delivering services in a more efficient and cost effective manner



My particular areas of specialism include: -

  • environmental scanning
  • providing advice on methods of assessing service quality, reviewing the effectiveness of services and developing improvement strategies
  • providing advice to social landlords on various aspects of housing management policy and practice
  • developing business systems and business re-modelling to achieve improvements
  • cost and efficiency optimisation, including undertaking lean thinking reviews
  • facilitating the development of, and improvement in, partnership working arrangements
  • undertaking a range of qualitative and quantitative research
  • the development of housing and housing related strategies
  • providing advice to local authorities in relation to the organisation and delivery of continuing housing functions (post stock transfer)
